Local Landscaping Business Run by Stonehill Student

BY CHLOE TELLER

Life-long friends Mike Finneran and Will McAlpine decided to take initiative and become business partners when feeling inspired to kick start their own business.

This small business created and run by Finneran and McAlpine, called University Landscaping, has been around for nine months.

University Landscaping is versatile. Chances are, if there is any manual labor you need done, it can be covered by these hard working students.

“We provide lawn mowing, spring and fall cleanups, mulching, weeding, leaf removal, rock jobs, landscape design, and removal of dangerous plants such as poison ivy,” Finneran said.

University Landscaping is a dual partnership registered in the town of Abington. Finneran and McAlpine complete every job they are tasked with.

“We pride ourselves on providing excellent and efficient work for all our clients. As we grow, we will look to hire motivated people that uphold the same level of quality work Will and I do,” Finneran said.
