With a weather prediction of a foot of snow, Stonehill College closed school Tuesday, giving students the day off to enjoy it.
Olivia Rotondo, a junior, has been waiting for the snow all winter and was especially excited for this snow day.
“I feel like we don’t really get snow days anymore because of zoom and the little amount of snow we’ve gotten this winter” said Rotondo.
Students were seen sledding down the hill in front of Donahue, participating in snowball fights on the quad, and gathering outside to hang out and play games.

Elise Morrow, a junior, spent her whole day outside in the snow.
“Going sledding has been one of my favorite moments from this year,” said Morrow.
Although it didn’t snow for too long, students were given the day to make memories that will last a lifetime.
“Even though I was really cold outside, I wouldn’t have wanted to spend my day any other way,” said Morrow .
