EASTON— Being a college student can be difficult, between the struggle of time management and building relationships, it can seem impossible to find time for things you simply enjoy.
Thankfully, this past Friday, Stonehill brought the activities to us.
Friday saw the Duffy lot remove the cars loaded with parking tickets and instead be filled with tables covered in opportunity.
The annual Stonehill activity fair allows students to come together and share their common interests.
From sports to student government and so many more, the club fair is an excellent way to build up the community here at Stonehill.
The club fair allowed students to highlight their interests in a way that allows other students to participate with them.
Club leaders and founders have attributed this event to helping build friendships and overall relationships.
“We have been able to build a team that wants to have fun and create friendships while continuing to play the sport we love” club softball coach Melody Allen said.
Finding ways to balance education and pleasure is extremely important for the mental stability of us students, and the activity fair has given an outlet for that to happen on campus.
Despite the club fair being over, there are still ways to get involved in a variety of clubs by going to stonehill.edu and searching “clubs.”
