The life of a Stonehill alum was taken by floods from Hurricane Helene.

Classmates say they have fond memories of Sieminski, who went by the nickname “Flash” on campus.

“Always nice, always kind. Always one who'd say hi when we crossed paths in class or on campus,” said Susan Pawlak-Seaman, a classmate who knew Sieminski. She said he was the kind of person who was friends with everyone.

Another classmate said Sieminski was always involved on campus and was an active supporter of campus events.

Carol Thornton, a close friend of Sieminski’s in college, said he was involved in hosting concerts, parents weekend, and was an active member of the Social Committee.

This [R.F.K.] was an outreach society to underserved children in the community. While I am not sure if Flash was an official member, he (along with myself) supported their special events and parties,” Thornton said.

She also said Sieminski was a part of Hello Dolly, the spring musical, and “sang better and louder than most, and shuffled his feet in perfect rhythm.”
